Etique was founded in 2015 as a converter of Made in Italy fabrics with the aim of being in the “premium” and “haute de gamme” market segments.
Our headquarters as well as production and logistics are located in the Como area, where the silk tradition dates back to the end of the fifteenth century, when people began to cultivate mulberry trees and to breed silkworms by the will of Ludovico Sforza known as “il Moro”, at the time Duke of Milan.
The headquarters is located in Emilia Romagna, region where the most important clothing manufacturing companies operate, more precisely in Traversetolo in the province of Parma, where in 1938 the famous Sorelle Fontana, thanks to a small tailor's workshop then moved to Rome in 1943, they were the first to give a lively impulse to the Made in Italy fashion, thus making Italian style famous throughout the world.
Our mission continues on the edge of tradition and is to offer the best of silky textile, combining it in a modern way, according to the needs of a demanding and constantly evolving market.
The research of high quality yarns and the quality control of the final product made by specialized inspection mills, allow to our fabrics to be used for many purposes, ranging from the unformal citywear, to the elegant cocktail dresses.
The respect for environment is for Etique a cornerstone of our company philosophy. With this goal in mind, we chose to add to our collection an increasing number of sustainable articles plain and jacquard, creating fabrics that, while respecting the environment, can maintain our trademark’s simple elegance.
